Montana Gypsy offers classes in all styles of Latin dance and flamenco and C&W dance styles. We teach at the University of Montana, Downtown Dance Collective, Lifelong Learning Center, and Missoula County Public Schools. Review our schedule for exact times and locations for each class. Schedules vary from semester to semester, and we add Pop-Up Workshops, covering styling, technique, and specialized dance styles, every month.

We are all over Missoula, so check our calendar regularly. We have two social dances every month, on the first and third Saturdays. Our calendar also includes class start dates and other dance events.
Montana Gypsy and Jennifer Corbin are certified Dance Integration Teaching Artists. We integrate dance into all curriculums, including math, science, language, and physical fitness. K-12 public schools are funded through SPARK! in Missoula, Montana, but I am available for teaching at all levels in all sectors. We're BAAACK! However, we have some new rules, and it's not just about your dancin' shoes. Per Missoula County Health Department regulations, masks must be worn when you enter the dance space and when you leave the dance space. Once you've occupied your assigned "square" on the floor, you are free to remove your mask if it hinders your breathing while moving. Instructors will wear masks at all times. This hour-long class is high-energy and tons of fun. Each week, we play with a flashy new chunk of choreography and dance technique. Salsa, mambo, Latin jazz and other popular music set the tone for this booty-shaking, hair-tossing hour of exploration.

This course extends over six weeks and will give you the confidence to build your first steps as a salsa dancing couple. The classes are structured and progressive.

This 4-week session begins February 5, 2020, 7PM at the Lifelong Learning Center. Rhumba is a slow, playful dance with flirtation between the partners. The Rhumba spotlights the rhythmic body movements and hip actions to a wide variety of music from Tito Puente to Jimmy Buffet. You've seen it on TV, now come try it. ¡Olé! Explore Flamenco dance! Learn how to express your own individuality, improve your posture and confidence and reduce stress through the art of Spanish Flamenco Dance. Connect with yourself and others as we explore beginning flamenco dance technique, posture, hand and arm movements, sounds of the feet and choreography in this fun beginner class. Learn more about flamenco rhythm, music and culture.

If you are familiar with the basics of two-step and swing, join us in this combo class where you can learn how to put them together by gliding from one to the other in the same song. You will move with grace and ease after this 4-week course and impress others on the dance floor. A partner is required and both need to register and pay the tuition.
