Latin Dance
Classes are taught at West Side Theater (WST) at 1200 Shakespeare in Missoula, the Missoula Taekwondo Center (MTC), at 2305 S Grant Street in Missoula, Montana Moonlight Studios (MMS), at 120 West Broadway, Studio B1 in Missoula, and The Lifelong Learning Center (LLC), 310 South Curtis Street in Missoula. Beginning Salsa Dance @ LLC (Begins 10/29/24, 7:30PM)
TUESDAYS: Salsa dance uses complete spins, sharp movements, and crisp turns done to an infectious rhythm. It is an energetic Latin dance for couples that is fun to learn and practice. During these eight (8) weeks, you and your partner will focus on basic footwork, dance positions, and connections. A partner is recommended, and both need to register for the class..

Continuing Salsa Dance @ LLC (Begins 10/29/24, 6PM)
Take the dance foundations you explored in Beginning Salsa to the next level. With an understanding of salsa timing and Latin movement, all those fun moves you see on the dance floor, executed with Latin style and grace, are within your grasp. You will spice up the lead, create variations and momentum, and add flair to your finale! Please wear non-marking shoes and comfortable clothes to move in. No partner is needed. Prerequisite: Beginning Salsa or equivalent.

Beginning Salsa @ MTC (Begins 10/21/24, 6:30PM)
MONDAYS:This 6-week beginner salsa class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of salsa dance. You’ll explore lead/follow connection, practice rhythm and timing, and develop Latin movement skills that bring authenticity to your dance. Each class also focuses on culture and musicality, immersing you in the vibrant world of salsa music. Whether you're new or looking to improve, this class will give you the confidence to dance socially and enjoy every step!
